Tilmanstone Community

Village Events	The church is regarded as an important part of the community as was recently demonstrated where a large part of the funding for the Garden of Remembrance was raised at a village summer garden party. Each year we hold a fete, Harvest supper, carol singing through the village and a much looked forward to flower festival is held at the church every few years.
Village Organisations	We have on our PCC members from the Parish Council, the village hall committee and the local W.I.
Village Hall	A Methodist chapel until 1965, which reports to and is owned by the church, is the focal point of village activity At the village hall we hold our ‘messy church’ meetings and members are involved with the village market and other activities such as quiz nights.. It is also used for celebrations such as wedding receptions.

Village Magazine	We have a very popular monthly village magazine in which the church services and activities are prominently advertised. It has a circulation of 130 and popular appeal.
