Record of Events in 2018.
The Teddy Bears Picnic on 1st July followed by The Jazz on the Green later that day were just perfect and everyone that came along really enjoyed the atmosphere,
The Festival Fortnight also hosted a number of concerts the beautiful Flower Festival and rounded off nicely with our Annual Garden Fete, surely the only place to be during a summer in Eastry.
More soberly, we visited Arras and Vimy Ridge in September to commemorate the ending of WWI 100 years since so many lost their lives for our future, we took in the countless rows of the graves of men from all sides and the pity and sadness was palpable. Lightening the day, we came together in a lovely restaurant in Arras to celebrate their lives and the Armistice that would follow.
