The  road map below shows the location of St.Augustine's church.
The entrance gate to the Church is located about 100 metres along The Drove

The group "The Friends of St. Augustine's" is separate from the PCC and is primarily a fund raising group whose membership extends beyond the regular congregation.  The people of St. Augustine's work hard to create a sense of belonging, welcoming visitors and maintaining close links with Northbourne C.E. Primary School, which is a thriving school of around 130 pupils with two new classrooms. The school is now federated with the Downs CE Primary School, Walmer with a single governing body.  We welcome the school into church for school services throughout the year; at the leavers’ service the church presents each leaver with a bible.

St. Augustine's has a well tuned set of six bells and a very good team of ringers lead by a dedicated captain. This is regarded as a village community, rather than a church activity.

Other community activities are supported actively by the congregation, which includes two parish councillors and church members are leading the project to develop the village recreational ground and other church members participate in the Betteshanger Community Centre quiz nights
